does your life ever feel like a nutter butter with no butter?

Monday, December 01, 2003

okay, so it's december now...i've been a little busy.
i do have a christmas list and a thing to be happy about. coming right up:
I got bored in class and made it so somethings aren't to be really taken
seriously. things with stars are things i really need. things with tildes are
things i really want.

~rutgers, emory or michigan state t-shirt or sweatshirts
under armor
books--authors like Jan Karon, p. G. wodehouse, ~francine rivers, or whatever
button-down shirts
~*birkenstocks (fuji or gizeh)
music-artists like innocents mission, ryan adams, uncle tupelo, or anything
that's acoustical sounding and pretty.
~digital camera (not too complicated, small enough to carry around with me)
*space heater
*professional pedicure
~raspberry jam
~black cardigan
"the emperor's new groove" (in vhs)
*hair holders (i'm down to my last one of the 100 i bought at the beginning of
the summer)
*my car cleaned out
*a real waterproof, breatheable raincoat
~fresh pineapple
~shakespeare or the bible on tape (esp. much ado about nothing and Isaiah)
~a cd walkman and tape adapter and car adapter and fixing my cigarette lighter
*black ink cartridge for my printer

i'd also like to be done with school and not have to write another paper, but i
kinda think that's wishful thinking.

the happy thing:
Scott Field Turf Named Best In America For 2004

Nov 18, 2003

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- The playing surface at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field has been named the Collegiate Football Field of the Year for 2004, the Sports Turf Manager's Association announced recently. The award will be presented at the 2004 STMA National Conference in San Diego, Calif., in January.

The award is the highest form of recognition available for a sporting facility in the United States of America. It is awarded by the professionals in the sports turf industry.

The turf at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field was developed by Mississippi State University, and is marketed under the name Mississippi-Choice. It is also installed at Bank One BallPark in Phoenix, Ariz., Edison Field in Anaheim, Calif., and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

The playing surface at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field is managed by MSU Athletic Field Supervisor Bart Prather and his staff.

Our team may stink, but our field doesn't!
